EN 1090 Certificate
Being a harmonized European Standard, the EN 1090 Certificate forms the basis for the CE mark, which is compulsory for structural components within the scope of 305/2011/EU Construction Products Regulation. This European Standard applies to the design and manufacturing of steel and aluminum based structures and components.
EN 1090 Steel and Aluminum construction practices CE mark has been compulsory for steel structures and aluminum producers in July 1, 2014. The main purpose of EN 1090 305/2011/EU Construction Products Regulation is to keep the safety performances of construction at the desired level.
In these standard series, steel structures and aluminum construction practices are talked about.
These practices, which are divided into three groups, are:
- Compliance assessments for bearing elements
- Technical requirements for steel structures
- Technical requirements for aluminum structures
